Remove aerokit advice
I want to take them off to aid my friend in measuring and fitting 3d printed replacements for the silly jack point caps.
Mine appear to be held on with double sided tape on the outward side, and then crappy plastic pins underneath.
I don't really want to pry too hard so will defer to this forum's good advice
(J if you say total loss, I will e-punt your shinbone)

I just replaced one of mine (back, left) If I recall, it hinged in from the bottom, and snaps in place at the top with a couple tabs with metal spring clips. It is really just a friction fit thing, which is why they get lost so easily. Sounds like yours have the tabs missing and tape instead

Several winters ago, I lost both rears. The spring clips appear to be made out of mild steel and don't hold their tension well; similar to the clips that hold the access doors to the beauty covers under the hood.
I ran some black RTV silicone along the perimeter of the covers and have never lost them since.
