PCM/Bose and Volume

PCM/Bose and Volume
While I think that the BOSE audio system in the Cayenne is exceptional for a stock system, I've a small issue with volume controls.
I tend to listen to music at high volume. In my previous cars (BMW X5 and Audi A6), the audio system would default to a reasonable level when first starting the car. With the Cayenne, it seems to remain at or near the volume that was set when the car was turned off.
Likewise, when fast forwarding or rewinding through a song, my previous vehicles would automatically lower the volume. The Cayenne does not - rather it plays at the same volume for normal listening.
This is just a nitpick and would be easily fixable via software. Maybe it's just me since I tend to blast music on a regular basis.

I've noticed when I first bought the car that the volume goes up when accelerating, even at low speeds. I suspected a default to an volumne level system, based on speed. However, lately it has not done this. Anyone else have this problem?
I share your frustration w/ the high volumn setting. I have to remember to turn it down before I turn off the ignition.
