Thumbs up Cayenne Technical Manual

The Porsche manual, Service Information Technik, part number PNA 488 910, is a very good reference guide, with LOTS of technical information that aids in understanding the systems on the Cayenne.

Is everything in English? The "Technik" made me wonder.

Can you get one from the dealer, or is it a special order?

Thanks

John,

The book is in English and has a wealth of information on the Cayenne. I found my copy on eBay (sold by Engine Builders Supply - a regular advertiser in Panorama). I'm sure that you can order it from your dealer. It is published by PCNA.

Yup. Read mine 3 times before my C-T arrived.

You can order it from your dealer using that part number. That's how I ordered mine. It was about $30 or $35 I think. Excellent book. Buy it.

Question

Nice. Thanks for the info. I tried to get this from a dealership about 2 months back and they looked at me as though I was Marty Mcfly in BTTF III. What tasks have you guys been able to undertake with the addition of this literature?

Thanks in advance.

The manual does not include service or repair information. Instead, it explains the function and theory behind the systems in the vehicle.

Does anyone know a US dealer (or even a webshop) that would send this manual to Europe.

(Since it is a publication of PCNA, I cannot get it here in Europe).

Thanks a lot.

I would think most would. Try Ira Porsche since they are a sponsor here. If you don't have any success, send me a PM with your address, I'll order you one.
