I see mention of the blue ball joint boots going bad, is it true?
I need to do front uppers and lowers, and am going to have the dealer order mevotech rather than the oe porsche ones (I have a 3rd party warranty, otherwise I would be doing this myself with your great instructional video).

Thanks
I have almost 12k miles on them after 1.5 years and so far no problems. The car still feels tight and handles great, i'm still very happy with my purchase.

I haven't heard anything about the blue ball joint boots going bad. I just had my car on the rack getting it ready for winter duty and all the boots still look new.

May I ask the name of the shop/mechanic. No issues now, just in case.

I have a 06 CTTS with 100K miles noticed a slight shimmy at high speed, determined it wasn't wheel balance issue. Replaced the tie rods with TRW from FCPEuro inner & outer kit. After replacement took vehicle in for four wheel alignment and a check of other suspension components. Technician reports back all was good and no potential issues.

Thanks DIY Dan for the video it helped me with the replacement!

Cayenne drives and steers like new again.

Sorry, man. I wasn't subscribed to the thread and I drift away until I start needing to hang out here again. The guy's name is Zoli, company is Euroboost in Sterling, VA. Great guy, great Cayenne mechanic. 571-263-4835.
