Instrument cluster screen very dim
Just wondering if anyone has managed to find a solution , maybe swap for a newer style instrument section , if that works or replacing the LCD screen .
I had seen people who have swapped for a newer cluster but not sure of it is plug and play and of course you have the odometer issue. Dont want to be clocking the car !
I have seen, instead of the whole cluster, that you can get replacement screens which could be an option ?
like these

Wondering if anyone has knowledge of these

There are several YouTube videos showing how to do it. Looks like the most complicated part is getting the instrument cluster out.
I do love a project

dont worry, found some, stopped being lazy
