Default What Brand of Waterpump?

Replacing the waterpump in my '06 Cayenne. should I go with the OE Porsche one for $300, or one of the other brands for 1/2 of that?

I had the same question when replacing mine. LASO is top notch in quality, made in Germany.
Highly recommend. I got it for my GTS, when someone recommended it to me. Really great.

Aisin is Porsche OEM. Toyota owns a 30% share in Aisin. Lasco also makes very good pumps. If it were me save your money and go aftermarket.

Default Exclusive WPs

1) OEM Porsche(HEPU)
2) LASO(needs 1-day break-in, so slight weeping)

I put a Laso pump in my CTT at 90K. It failed at 97K. Bearing wobble and noise. Went with a Porsche pump after that. Now at 170K with no issues.
