vn1,
There are endless threads and posts here in this forum about this issue. Essentially, your service technician needs to hook up the PST2 tool to your vehicle and delete the "learned" driving patterns and incorrect mappings stored in the DME. Once that is done, lurching will clear up considerably. It's a pretty easy process, with the longest effort being the PST2 tool's time required to poll all control units installed in the car.
There are also additional posts in this forum discussing the potential for Tiptronic fixes. That one still seems to be in flux.
GMAustin has some detail as does Mudman2 and others here on the forum.

Try looking at this thread:Lurching
There is a similar thread here on Rennlist, perhaps with even more detail. Just search for it.
You need to press your dealer on this. Get him to call PCNA or the District Service Manager with your specific complaint. There is an available update that is not documented.
Details? Yes, we have tons of details, speculations and conflicting information. The more you know, the less you know!
We're working on something new but don't expect any revelations.

Thank you all for your helps. I just got my S back after 2.5 days in service for the following issue: wheel alignment(pull to the right), head light condensation, rear windshield washer drip. Now I am back to heaven again after driving the rental Saturn that they gave me.
I will try Mckenna to see what they will say about the lurching issue. Newport Beach dealer is useless on this.
