That looks really nice. Show us yours when you get it done.

I helps in the Cayman (shown above ) that the A pillars are not also suede covered like they are in the Cayenne -- it breaks up the side-by-side comparison.

Can anyone post a step by step guide on removing the headliner? I started, but I don't want to go any farther until I'm sure I'm not screwing anything up. I haven't been able to find anything on the forum.

Sorry I can't help with exactly what you are asking for but if you're not familiar with the website, your best bet may be to get a subscription to AllDataDIY. It's super cheap (like $30 for a full year) and it has almost everything you need to know about your car in terms of testing and repair. The best part is the full illustrations which would be very helpful for something like a headliner removal.

How much material is required for this DIY? Assuming it is something like 4m by 3m?
