TT in the shop for...

Well, well. I, too, have a new cardan shaft, and man, it is WAY smoother. I also got a new transmission cooler put in AND they adjusted the throttle response (re: turbo lag). They did not remap the DME because that is only an S issue. The S DME might mess with a TT! :-) Anyhow, seems better. The throttle does not have that second or two delay anymore, but it is NOT the neck snapping (PSM off) reaction. I haven't tried driving it with PSM off yet (icy roads tonight). Gotta give a compliment to the dealer, Northland Porsche in Cinncinatti, who did it all in one day, and cut my hour and fifteen minute drive up there in half by meeting me halfway to return the S loaner.
Also, many have asked about winter conditions - I drove my TT in sub zero weather (we hit -3 F a few nights ago) with no issues (it did come out of a heated garage, but still). In addition, the Pirelli Scorpion snow and ice 255/55R18 tires are phenomenal in snow and decent in rain as well. Because of the soft compound and grip, they are a bit harder to park with. The steering felt MUCH tighter and harder to turn than the S loaner with all season stock Conti's. Just my .02......Eric
