Post Pics of dark colored Cayenne with Stainless Steel Skidplate?

I would appreciate if anyone with a dark colored Cayenne (preferably Lapisblue) with the stainless steel skidplate could post a picture (straight from the front).

Thanks very much in advance.

Matt,

While it's not Lapis Blue, I can send you a picture of mine (Crystal Silver). FWIW, the addition of the skidplate did a nice job of setting off the front valence and complimenting the front-end appearance of the Cayenne. I think it would really look nice on a darker colored car like yours or a Basalt Black Cayenne.

Toby

BTW - glad to have you back here. Was wondering if you were well. Happy New Year! TBP

Toby,

Thanks very much for your offer. I've already seen a couple of pictures of silver colored Cayennes with the skidplate. They looked very good. However, I'm not sure if the contrast between a dark front and the very light plate wouldn't be too much.

BTW - Thanks for the kind words, wish you all the Best for the New Year too! The workload had kept me from being more present on the board but I promise to be more active again in 2004!

Here's one for you Matt. I believe this was from the Cayenne introduction to the dealers, or maybe to the press, in Spain. It was one of the first I had seen of the skidplate so I saved it. Sorry it's not more revealing.

Matt,

One of the Porsche dealers here in the US regularly offers these on eBay for about $425. Installation is a DIY job, so be sure to compare your dealer's price to eBay before you dive in - especially if you're handy and can DIY!

Here's the skid plate on a Dark Teal Cayenne S. Looks pretty good in person.

It's plenty revealing enough to tell me I do NOT like it. It looks added-on, boy-racerish. It's about as attractive as the diddeebopper-style RED instrumant panels in the oriental-econobox 'racers'. UGH!!!!!!
