Never mind. I found a $20 bargain on CL for a used Thule Passage 3 rack instead. It fits and is functionally the same as the $300+ rack above and except for the rear wiper being unusable when its in place, there are no issues carrying two mtn bikes. Did a 20 mile first haul and it stayed put and the straps stayed snug. The frame pads rest on the bumper and on the glass. I'm a little concerned about potential paint scuffing from the hooks and top straps. The side/bottom hooks are on common straps and I'm going investigate a better means of tensioning them. And yes, the blue straps look like hell, but then it was only $20!
