Default Wheel & Tire Shipping Help

I'm thinking about purchasing a set of wheels/tires for my Cayenne S from an individual, and having them shipped to me. He doesn't really want to help with shipping, so I would need to coordinate it all.
Who here can recommend a good shipping company? Also, for those of you who have shipped wheels, what should I expect to pay (Denver to KC)?

Fully palletized shipping from one time zone to another runs between $260-$400. They bring the wheels to a shipping/freight center, they place the wheels on a 48" x 40" wooden pallet and plastic wrap them, while stacked 2x2.

Yeah, it's a huge hassle. However, I'll let these 20" OEM Sport Design wheels go for $680/shipped:

The seller could also take them to a UPS store (or equivalent) and pay to have them bubble wrapped & boxed up in individual boxes. Then shipped. Cost me about $500 from San Fran to Wisconsin (16 x 7 928 MHC wheels) to have that done.

Thanks for the info. The seller doesn't want to take them anywhere, so I'm trying to figure out what company to use that will pick them up, and ship them to me.
Anyone who's shipped via this method, please let me know who you used.

Thanks,

OP, go to a tire/wheel shop and ask for free wheel boxes, before they get broken-up. This will allow you to get 4 wheel boxes, as a tire shops install new rims on a daily basis.

Take a look at my post. I'm looking for a reputable shipping company to ship the wheels from Denver to KC (where I live). Suggestions appreciated. Not interested in buying your wheels.
