I recently replaced my HU with an Android. I've found myself in the car a few times with the key inserted into the ignition but "off" so that the radio is on but everything else is off for installing Android updates, etc. While in this mode, I occasionally hear a little "click" behind the instrument cluster that sounds a lot like a bimetallic strip changing states. Anyone know what it is?

hood up / car cold / standing outside (window down) / power up (no start) / turn off (remove key) / wait a few minutes ...those clicks?
