Battery draw from alarm.
Getting ready to depart for a 10 day holiday. Have read much about battery problems. Have a 2004 TT with one battery. Have had no problem to date letting car sit for 7 days (commute on train daily) and using it on week-ends, but 10 plus days may be stretching it. Does anyone have an educated opinion on whether or not to set the alarm or leave it off,,in regards to amount of draw. Thanx

The alarm will not draw enough electricity to expire UNLESS it is activated over several 'attacks'.
You may want to invest approximately $75.00 in a solar power trickle charger that can be place on your vehicle's dash.
It is far better to retain your vehicle by having the alarm armed and have your Porsche waiting for you when you return from your sojourn [even if the battery went dead] than to have it unarmed and return to an empty parking stall!

Of course the solar does not work inside a garage....
If Pepper lives inside consider the Porshe trickle charge that plugs into wall and lighter (no need to get under seat.)
