Brake master cylinder
2009 CTTS. 91.5k miles.
fellow owners how are your brake pedals? I feel like mine is soft and getting softer. Brand new pads and rotors and did a full motive flush with motul and it did not really help. Granted I do not have a tool to purge the abs pump bc the durametric and the icarscan don’t have the capability.
The pedal was soft before the brake change as well. Do y’all think it may be the master cylinder? There are no leaks as the fluid leve has been stable and I have done several hard stops to invoke the abs and have also done the pad bedding.
When the car is running I can pump the brake till the pedal gets hard and when I release and reapply pressure it will eventually go to the floor. It does take some foot pressure and time to get there (30 sec) to the floor.
I just want want to make sure I’m not just used to the brake pedal feel of the rs4 and Carrera and using those as the baseline. Any help/comments are appreciated.

FYI I had this issue and changing the master cylinder didn't really help much. It did give me some peace of mind.
What pads did you use?
If you want to purge the ABS pump on the cheap, simply get all four wheels in the air (jackstands) and put the car in drive and let it try to roll forward. ABS/PSM will go nuts, and it will sound crazy but it does activate the pump. Then bleed afterwards and repeat a few times.
I guess if you were really nuts you could take the wheels off and try to bleed while activating the ABS pump like this, but I haven't tried it.
