Question PASM lowering kit

Anyone seen this or have any details?
http://www.carnewal-europe.com/cpx_p55020.htm

It's from Gert, so I trust it, just wondering if it's just electronics or something else.

this unit replace the stock electronical unit from your air suspension,
brings the car on a 40 mm deeper niveau, lower automatically to deepest
position in parkposition and the possible height is also higher than stock.
installation must be easy with simply plug off and plug in the new box.

there`s been also a very interesting thread on the t-reg forum where expierenced guys discussed programming/changing the parameters theirselfs (sorry dont find the link now but enuff interesting threads so its worth to visit). its a lot of stuff you can change with switching electronical units - for me most interesting switch off this damn fasten seat belt bell :-)

back to lowering module - for sure better look through lower niveau but your warranty will be void through this and I dunno if its work 100% together with all other parameters like PSM, ABS etc. Maybe Gert can give more details.

i read in the t-reg forum thats possible to switch that damn thing off.
you can do a lot of changes with the headunitmodule like for eg switch
preferences to specific country requirements, set your blinkers from 3 times lighting to 5 times blabla etc etc. As far as I read about
this discussion its no big deal to switch this seatbelt buzer off for your dealer with his sys tester. i will habe mine do that very soon telling you,
this thing really makes me mad sometimes :-)

ups, don`t thinked about this lawyer problem. the thread I mention is:

http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=1149458

pls read completely - very interesting. seems that some VW mechanics post there :-))

and this are the codes:

Steuergerät codieren

STG 17 (Kombiinstrument) auswählen
STG Codieren -> Funktion 07

Codierzahl (Bsp.): 04142
Die ersten beiden Stellen des Codes geben die extra Optionen an:

00 - keine extra Optionen
+01 - Bremsbelagverschleißanzeige aktiv
+02 - Sicherheitsgurtwarnanzeige aktiv
+04 - Wischwasserstandswarnanzeige aktiv

you find more code stuff here buts german:

http://www.openobd.org/vw/touareg.htm#bordnetz

hope that helps. pls dont disconnect the buzzer completely cuz you need him for other (important) warnings too like for eg brake failure warnings etc pp
