I did my instrument cluster speaker about a month or so ago, be careful not to have your iron too hot when soldering the new one in or you can burn through and you'll need another - that was on the instruction card that arrived with mine.

Also, take some serious time deciding whether or not you need the sounds... I bought the car with the speaker blown so had never heard the warning noise and god its awful, I thought BMW was annoying but this is worse!

It was actually fairly peaceful not having any tones whilst it was broken.
