ski rack wind noise?

ski rack wind noise?
I recently purchased the ski rack in anticipation of the upcoming ski season.
Althought it works well, the problem is it creates a large amount of wind noise on my S.
Anyone has similar issue? If so, have you found any reasonable solution yet?
Thanks.

If the ski rack fits on the normal roof-rack bars, be sure the bars are mounted with the correct edge forward. There are symbols of the vehicle on each end of the bars; all Cayennes should point forward.
When I picked mine up in July, I stopped on the freeway after hearing lots of wind noise. The dealer had installed one of the bars backwards.

I have the roof rack installed properly. They do make some wind noise when the rubber strips are removed but if I move both bars to the back of the vehicle, the whistling noise would almost disapper.
I also have the bicycle mount. The wind noise with two mounts are much less obvious than the ski rack. At above 20mph, it is annoying enough that I'm inclined to look for alternatives for mounting my ski gears.

Ah, as it turned out, I only need to put the rubber on the grove back onto the roof mount. Cut a piece of the rubber and put it under the grove between two legs of the ski rack would eliminate the noise.
