Lest we forget.......
While we titillate ourselves with summer/all season/winter tires & 60/40 & all that baloney....
we must remeber the law of inertia.... (as applied to Pepperland in rain or snow)
A 5,000 lb vehicle does not want to stop as quickly as a 3,000 - 4,000 lb car.
Just a reminder......
I remember one winter (the first I had my audi TTr / with dunlop M2s) I was traveling to the newark airport in about 3" of snow, I was doing an 40-50 MPH on the NJ turnpike, some moron in am BMW X5 goes flying past me, three miles down the road the SUV is on its roof in the median. It has very little to do with the technology our auto, but has everything to do with the driver!
