My conversation with Becker, today, revealed that their interface cables do NOT work with the PCM system.

It seems possible that the mute pin may work, but, according to Becker, the audio input pins do not work.

Next time you have occasion to speak with Becker, ask them if they plan to sell the Online Pro 7800 radio here in the US. If so, that particular radio will solve the radio/Nav/GSM Phone/MP3 player question. As I understand it, the Online Pro is the same radio fitted in the Carrera GT. If THAT's the case, perhaps it can be ordered as a replacement part? If so, can we get a part number?

If you're interested in the Online Pro, here is a description of the radio. (Click on Car Multimedia to expand the selection, then Online Pro and then click on 7800 to see the details) If you check the technical specifications, you will find that this is a MOST-based radio!
