Default GIAC chip from EvoMs.Com for TT

I had this installed about a month ago, with BMC air filters. It's a great upgrade for the TT, I recommend this to everybody.

But the greatest change was the aliminum diverter valves, that takes care of the hesitation problem 110%!

You won't believe the difference of the performance after this.

I will put the cat baypass pipes soon as well.

Ah, welcome to the world of turbocharging......diverter valve, compressor bypass valve, blow-off valve, essentially are all the same thing. When you're driving and on boost, then let off and close the throttle plate, the turbo (turbos in Cayenne's case) are still spinning and suppling pressure to the intake. But the throttle plate is now closed so that pressure has no where to go and just builds up. The DV is a valve that relieves that pressure and routes it back before the turbo to help keep it spinning between shifts(in the 951 case). A blow off valve does basically the same thing but vents the pressue instead of re-routing it.

is the diverter valve on the Cayenne the same as the one on 996Turbo? I'm thinking of buyiing the Bailey Diverter Valve from Gert, but the one I see in the website is for 996TT.

Sportscarfantic, what do you think of the exhaust that Evo offers? or you think the facotry exhaust with the Cat Bypass Pipes will do?
