Default Using a factory switch for other purposes :)

I have a 986 and am installing footwell lighting in the car. I want to use a factory porsche switch for the footwell lighting. I have the following diagram and need some help with the pin-out/wiring.

From the diagram I would think the wirng would go as follows:

PIN 1 - Wire to Positive of lighting controller
PIN 2 - NOT USED
PIN 3 - Wire to Dash Lights
PIN 4 - 12vDC Power
PIN 5 - JUmber to PIN 1

Can someone please help me in confirming this?

Cross-posing on this forum will not generally yield you better answers than you get on 986forum.com
That is a much better and 1000% more active forum than here

The Boxster Bentley manual has wiring diagrams and shows the connections to the various factory switches.

While I could refer to my copy of the manual tonight I think you'd be better off with your own copy to have right at hand so you can make your own wiring diagram for how the switch should be wired.
