Default For the 3.4 swap crowd. Flywheel/Clutch/Pressure plate differences Boxster and 996

Hello all, I'm waiting on a 3.2 Boxster engine to swap into my 911. I was thinking this forum would have better insight into the difference between the flywheel, clutch and pressure plate between a 3.2 and 3.4 911 engine because it's a more common upgrade for Boxster folks, than downgrade like I'm doing.

The 911 I have just had a clutch job, so I know all the pieces are good, but what can I re-use when installing the 3.2 engine? and what do I need to order that is specific to the Boxster engine?

I've tried searching and seen some people say all of it is interchangeable, and others say none; so I'm stumped.

Flywheels are different, I don't know why. Your 996 clutch should still work fine since the engine cases are functionally identical, as well as the crankshafts. I have a extra 3.2 flywheel if you need it.

Thanks, and not to be redundant but as far you know, I can reuse the pressure plate?

I'll message you my contact info
