Default glass backwindshield for a 99 boxster

I live in the cold to say the least and I talked to the local porsche dealer about getting a glass back windshield instead of a plastic replacement. Anyone have this kind of combo?

If you run a search this has been discussed. I believe the cost of the conversion will set you back an additional 6k. I think you would be better off buying a hard top for the winter months.

HB is correct - you have to purchase and install an entire new folding top - cloth, glass, internal structure, mounting arms, and fittings. 'Taint cheap, but it is easy to do.
