Default connector convertible top motor

I'm replacing the convertible top motor on my '99 Boxster. I'm having trouble removing the motor wires from the connector. I've tried pulling but they don't come out. I've tried dissembling the connector, looks like there is a sleeve the covers the connector, but the sleeve doesn't want to come off. I'm afraid of breaking the plastic connector. Anyone know if the connector can be dissembled or the wires should pull out?

Removing individual wires? You need a weather pack tool providing that is the connector type. Round pins?
