Default Misfire problems 1998 Boxster

Had a rough idle, and CEL light. P0303. Misfire cylinder 3. Swapped out coil pack on 3. Idles better, but still hesitates a little on acceleration at low rpms, and has same code. Every once in a while, p1315 will be a pending code, then vanish. At a loss. Swapped out MAF with a spare I have just in case. Any thoughts?

#3 plug ? switch it with #2?
Check ground (brown) for all three Bank 1 coils.
It is very easy to fail to make a good connection between the coil and it's connector. Push the boot back so you can see an hear the latch 'click'.
Let us know?

The other coils can cause a misfire on #3?

No. Switching/swapping coils around is a shade tree mechanic's technique for determining if the coil is bad -- if the misfire follows the coil to another cylinder the coil is bad -- or if the misfire is something else.

Be the #3 coil has a solid/secure connection to the plug and to the wiring harness. Be sure the coil is properly secured.

While you are there check the connection of the fuel injector.

No.
#3 coil is new and fitting it improved the idle. So it must be something else.I listed some easy possibilities.
Macster is correct about the injector connection - but the EV1 connector on the injectors is very robust
