Drying off the car the other day and was not too careful with the towel around the 'Boxster S' nameplate. Snagged the lower (horizontal) leg of the 'B'. It pulled up and kinked. Sticky glue stuff did not extend to the end of the 'B' and the end had enough mechanical advantage to put a small but permanent crease in the leg. I don't believe this kink can be removed without removing the entire name which will likely produce more kinks. From reading here in the past I have seen that these 'badges' may be removed by heating with heat guns, but I do not have great confidence in that technique since surface temperature gets quite hot in the blazing sun.
Any suggestions on how to cure this?

Thanks for the tip on the dental floss. It worked great . I was able to lift it far enough to straighten it out -- now all I have to do is find some sticky stuff to put under the end.
