One of the best engine sound you'll listen to
I did this last Sunday.
1- Removed the rear console (the one behind the seats).
2- Removed the carpet engine cover.
3- Removed the snorkel.
4- Loose the three bolts that hold the engine cover (they are three in the front section and 2 in the rear section).
5- Placed a 1" wood cube in the center between the engine cover and the
contact area where it rest when in place.
6- I tight the corner front bolts of the engine cover, and left the middle one loose (it won't even reach the hole).
I took the car for I short ride that became a 3 hours ride. I don't need an exhaust anymore. The whole experience is overwhelming. You will love the sound of the engine, valves, admission, exhaust.
My car is stock. Not a single mod.
The whole process takes about 30 minutes. You can get it back to what it was.
Try it, you won't regret!!!

pics?
Anyone else try this yet? I am curious but afraid to open up a "snorkel" and "loosen up some bolts" because I don't know what I'm doing.
