Default Rebuilt Boxster engines for sale

Hello Everyone,

We have these freshly rebuilt engines available for purchase:

03-05 Porsche Boxster 986 2.7l freshly rebuilt engine long block
Cost $8,000 with $1000 core credit available for rebuildable cores. Cylinder heads were fully restored (sanded, resurfaced, new valves, new seals, pressure check), new crank shaft bearings installed (main and rod), new piston rings, new chains, new guides, new sliders, new IMS roller bearing, new rear main seal, new seals, new gaskets, new water pump, new upgraded low temp thermostat, and more.


99-02 Porsche Boxster 986 2.7l freshly rebuilt engine
Cost $6,500 with $1000 core credit available for good rebuildable cores. Same parts installed as listed above.


Both motors come with 6 months warranty, MB Motorsports specializes in engine repair and used engine sales. We have many freshly rebuilt engine models available all the time. If we do not have your model in stock we can always rebuild your core.

Scott/Martin,
This is a great idea. We need more sources of competently rebuilt engines at reasonable prices. Particularly with a warranty. Any leak-down stats. on your rebuilt engines ?
I ask because of the difficulty & expense of correcting bore wear issues on even part worn blocks. Interesting that you fit new piston rings. Best practice with the M96 is not to fit new rings ?What do you say?

What is the white sealant you are using, and why around the cam plugs and IMS flange?
