Default 01 Boxster battery maintainer

Does anyone out there in the Rennlist ether know if Porsche sells a battery maintainer for that would work with 01 Boxster that can be installed in the cigar lighter socket? I did not have a lot of luck using the Techequipment search function, perhaps I used the wrong nomenclature.
Also will the Porsche dual mode maintainer that they sell for the new cars work on a 01 year car?
TIA Pat D

Or this at a lower price and I think it's the same thing:

Amazon.com: CTEK (56-158) MULTI US 3300 12 Volt Fully Automatic 4 step Battery Charger: Automotive Amazon.com: CTEK (56-158) MULTI US 3300 12 Volt Fully Automatic 4 step Battery Charger: Automotive

Or this one that I like even better:

Amazon.com: CTEK (56-353) MULTI US 7002 12-Volt Battery Charger: Automotive Amazon.com: CTEK (56-353) MULTI US 7002 12-Volt Battery Charger: Automotive

I have both.

Good advice. Yes there are $10 units from Harbor Freight but the key features that the cheap units miss are :
1.de-sulphation
2.connect and forget -no risk of overcharge.
I have a "BatteryMinder" brand and have found it excellent.
If you have a good but almost totally discharged battery -you need a different charger with much higher amperage and connect directly to the battery terminals. The new technology ,high -amp chargers are much better than the old 'sparky' ones. They do not 'cook' the battery.
The modern Battery Analyzers are a great tool.Easy to discover exactly how good/bad the battery is regardless of current state of charge. They give a "state of Health" & "State of Charge" reading + CCA & Alternator test.

Thank you all for the quick replies, however they pose another question. I have the unit sold by Suncoast Porsche # 955 044 900 54 that I use on my 2015 Cayman S. I was told that this maintainer was not compatible with the 01 car's electrical system but the Suncoast ad appears to refute that. I am not wild about experimenting on the 01 Boxster till I know for sure, anyone have any confirmation on this interchangeability? TIA Pat D

Schnell,
You missed my point, these are not cheap units. Ctek makes the "Porsche Charger." The cheaper one, the Ctek 3300 is the one Porsche sells at a ~$50 higher price. The other one, the Ctek 7002, has more features. Either one has the basic features you listed. For Pat - I have both and I will use either one with my 2000 Boxster S and my 1997 993tt. Instead of using the cigarette lighter connection, I recommend connecting to the battery using the connector that is supplied with the Ctek units. Mark
