Default Will 255-40-17's Fit Up Front On 02 Boxster

I searched around this forum but was unable to find the specific answer to my question. My wife's Boxster is due for tires. I want to run 4 square all around to simplify tire rotation. I've done this with all my other cars that had staggered set ups. I guess I could just move the rear tires to the front and see if they fit OK, but right now I'm just not in the mood to be screwing around moving tires all around.
Back to my question. Will 255-40-17 fit up front without any fender rolling or spacers?
Thanks.

I know the Boxster's Spec run 17x8.5 front and rear. If the 255 is a tight fit would a 245/40/17 be the best bet or would 245/40/17 and 255/40/17 be best ?

I did consider slightly narrower tread but did not want to narrow tread width in the rear from the stock 255 so I could fit same size up front. My new plan is to bring car to tire shop, swap the 255 rears to the front and see if they fit without resorting to spacers or fender rolling.

just double check that at full lock the wheel or tire is not touching any suspension parts
