Default Anyone in central Texas willing to let me test drive or ride in their Boxster?

Hello! I'm thinking about selling my v8 swapped 944 and picking up a Boxster. I really want to do some open top motoring and a Boxster seems like the only responsible thing to do The thing is, I've never driven one. I'm 6' tall and about 200lbs, I would like to see if I would be comfortable driving one and see what they're all about. I have a little seat time n a 996 but want to see the differences. Anyone in central Texas willing to take me for a spin? I'm in the killeen area but am in Austin semi frequently. Some form of reimbursement can be figured out if necessary, I know time is valuable. Thanks for looking!

Not in Texas but I'm 6' and around 200 at the time I purchased 2 Boxsters and was always comfortable in them. Depending on your torso length, you have to position the seat so, in a rear end crash, your head doesn't bounce off the roll bar.

Meet me at COTA Sat or Sunday -- donate $20 to charity and I'll take you out in my Boxster S on the F1 track. I have open slots at 4 both Saturday and Sunday.

I'm 6' 185+ -- so I'm sure 6' 200# would be fine.

PM me for details...... or email mike@lonestarrpm.com
