Default Koni's for Boxster 986

Thought some of you guys may be interested in this. After years of begging, Koni has finally developed applications for the 986 that should hopefully be stateside by the end of the year. Both Sport Yellow and FSD are in the works. The Sport Yellow application will be externally rebound adjustable on the front and standard adjustable on the rear.

This is fantastic news! Are these single or double adjustable? Will they be available for the 987, too?

Single Adjustable on the Sport Yellow Koni's. We'll start pressing for a 987 application as well.

Can you (re)valve them to suit specific applications, or are they already pre-tuned for autocross, track, etc?

Koni generally gives you 100% increase in rebound forces with the adjustment so that should cover a good range of uses and spring rates. Still early in the game but I'd think they can be revalved by Koni if necessary.

Koni is now listing the 987 application as "In Development". Great news. I'll keep you posted. Count on us having them as soon as they're released.
