Swap Boxsters???????????
I have a 1998 boxster (I am the original owner) with 12k miles and a 5-speed transmission. My Wife wants a Tiptronic. I assume that a conversion is not cost effective, so if any one wishes that they had a 5-speed instead of a "tip", let me know.
Mine is ocean blue, Graphite interior, garage kept and mint.
I know this is a long shot.

Your wife OWNS YOU...I'm just kidding, but do you really want to give up the 5-speed for a tip? Is it because she drives it more then you? IMO, going from a 5-speed to a tip is like wasting a good sports car, kinda like buying an auto GT mustang, but again that's just my opinion. Good luck with your quest.

Hey....
I am the main, if not only driver of the boxster...I would like my wife to have some fun too, and she's not good with a clutch (and we live in the steep hills).
FYI...My other Car is a 96 Carrera Cab (SIS SPEED, 18" wheels, RSR mufler,etc.), so it's fine with me if the boxster turns into a "tip".
My wife drives a CLK500 and a CLK320, so she does know what good is...

Jeff, it was just a joke, hence the "just kidding". I guess I hit a really touchy side of you. No need to justify what else you own because that was irrelevant. It was just another when a guy gets married the wife has all the control kind of jokes.
