Have you guys seen this article and spy photos of the 987 coupe due out 12 months after the roadster, which is due in mid 2005? Pretty interesting.

Those are the same photos they used when talking about the new 997... they are full of it... total BS.

I wish there were true photos on what these cars are going to look like... I can't wait to see the new model come out.

I agree they do look similar however, there are some differences in the pictures. The auto week car has a different rear end treatment. Probably just cladding to hide the true lines. It has what appears to be very large turbo like air intakes whereas the the other pictures of the 997 do not have this treatment. Who knows.

However if the "sources" are true a clubsport version of a Boxster coupe would be great car to play with. Mid engine design, light, stiff and 270 hp, sounds like a great track weapon.
