hydraulic line to slave cylinder

hydraulic line to slave cylinder
Hi All!
After a jack failure crushed my power steering return line and the hydraulic line for the slave cylinder, I ordered what I thought were the correct parts and pulled the old lines. The PS Return line was a cake walk I'm happy to say, but the blue hydraulic line for the Slave has me confused. On the upstream side everything went together perfectly, but down stream the end that should be flared and contain a flair fitting isn't that way. I'm assuming now that there are different part numbers for the S vs. Non-S models for this line as the two from this year (2002) use different slave cylinders. Any ideas? Hoping I'm just missing something thats keeping me from making the new line work.
