Hi there - recently installed new Corbeau racing seats in 01 Boxster S - how do I delete the airbag light ? Need to pass annual inspection (MA) and can't with airbag light on - surely this is a common problem, no?

You will need to get a resistor and put into the airbag connector. The air bag ECU will think the air bag is still attach therefore the air bag light will not be on.

You might consider checking with a dealer or indy mechanic that specializes in Porsche. I put GT3 bucket seats in my 04 Boxster and got an airbag light. I took it to my mechanic and he was able to clear the light.

Once the light is on, you still need to have it cleared. The resistor will prevent future SRS warnings.
