I would like to add to everyone's comments with I would have the IMS bearing changed out.
Your 03 originally came with a single row bearing assembly. This is the weakest of all of their bearings and is prone to failure. I do change my water pump every three years as a preventive measure for my own piece of mind. I don't like taking a chance of getting a few hours from home and have that let me down.

So mine was a double row that I changed for a LN one. According to my Indy serials numbers matched. No motor swap.
Anyway the original IMS bearing was in perfect shape.
