I am the new proud owner of a 2001 speed yellow boxster. When I first got it I was thrilled that it had a glass window instead of plastic. That let me know it had a newer top. Well on Monday after being parked outside my back window for the most part had fallen out. Upon further research I found and ordered a frame and top assembly out of a 2003 that will be delivered Friday. Since I was off today me and my son removed the old top without a hitch. My only question is what happened to the wire we disconnected behind the drivers seat? I am assuming maybe it is just under the headliner of the old top and I can't see it. Please let me know if that is the case. I am also assuming the new top will have a wire that needs to be connected.
