Default Driver side radiator fan not working

So my car is slightly overheating due to the driver side fan not kicking on, the temps are hitting 210+ on a daily basis. Here's what I've done/tested so far:
-Swapped relays from the passenger side that works (Low & High relays)
-Pulled off bumper (removed debris) and made sure it was plugged in
-I ordered a new ballast resistor; I'm going to try & swap the resistor tonight but from what it sounds like it would bypass the resistor when it's on 'High'
-Checked the fuses ( C10/C8) and they're good

I'm going to pull off the fender liner tonight for the ballast resistor. How do I go about applying power directly to the fan to make sure it works and isn't a wiring issue?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Here's 2 resources I've stumbled upon as well:

Well I figured it out. It ended up being the fan afte rall. I ended up wiring the fan directly to the battery to test it. After fiddling with it for awhile I ended banging on the back of the motor with a small sledgehammer and it came to life! Also, the OEM fan size is 10", hopefully that will be of some help to someone down the line.
