Default TPC Racing Takes Delivery of New Boxster

We just recently took delivery of our new 981 from Casey at Porsche of Silver Spring, and being that we are TPC Racing, what better way to test it out than to take it out to the track. We had it out at the David Murry Track Days at New Jersey Motorsports Park Thunderbolt to shake it down. After driving it on track for an entire day, I can honestly say this is about the most amazing off the showroom floor Porsche I have driven on track in a while.

Stay tuned for more pictures and videos.

Directly to the track? No break-in?

We did about 250 street miles then put about 225 track miles on it. Shifting around 5,000 RPM is fine. These cars are meant for the track!

When you say "I can honestly say this is about the most amazing off the showroom floor Porsche I have driven on track in a while."..... what was the last one you were amazed with?

I would probably say the GT3RS, but all of the Porsche cars are great. Driving the Boxster was an experience. The chassis is amazing, very rigid and nice to drive. It didn't do anything abnormal or get loose. Very well balanced car that was quite impressive to drive but also easy to drive.

Rick,

Great looking car!

Ours is a red S with a 6 speed. We did the sport seats, upgraded stereo, PASM, the bigger wheels and a few other options. Fantastic car! Can't wait to start doing some work with it
