I found some used 18" Victor Equipment wheels and have a question about rear tire sizes. My car is an '05 S and the rear VE wheels are 9.5" (same as the 19" stock wheels on the car). Will a 265 by 35 tire fit OK, stock is 40? The tires I'm looking at are Khumo XS to be used for autocross and DE events.

35 and 40s are very similar and will definitely fit. My only concern would be that it may throw off PSM/ABS and even shifting if you have a tiptronic.
