I replaced my 2.7 with a 3.2. The 2.7 bank 1 scavenge pump jammed and the shaft sheered causing the timing to jump on bank 1. All the exhaust valves on bank 1 are bent. The timing chain hit the valve cover and put a hole in it. The rest of the engine looks fine. I found no metal in the filter or pan. I would like to get as close to $3000.00 as possible.
