Default Saying goodbye to the amber...

So after years of reading threads on amberectomies and de-ambering, what has the cost effective solution come to be accepted as?

Is there a vendor that sells amber free headlight assembies that do not cost $400 (or so) each?

What has your experience been?

Done mine using the soldering iron and pliers: weeks of reading, 45 minutes for the first one, 15 minutes for the second.
As usual, easy job when you've done it once.

Yeah... what I would do for a experienced hand in my shoulders when I attempt that....

Seriously, it is what I am trying to avoid
