Im trying to trace down a problem with my 2002 Boxster S. I get the Tiptronic emergency run message a lot and it seems to be getting worse. As far as i can tell, shifting in my porsche is just fine. When you run the codes on the computer, it doesnt show any problems stored. Ill recieve the alarm and then it immediately clears. It happens even when setting at a stop light and not moving??? Yesterday while driving around town, it happened 4 times in 5 miles of stop and go Houston traffic. Has this happened to anyone else?? Please help me if you can.. thanks, Jonathan

Check the fluid level. Mine was a bit low and gave a few codes.

Friends shop did a "service" on it to make sure everything was OK and filled with new fluid. Runs great!
