Default FS Feeler: 2001 986 S

I hope I could sell this to a Rennlist member or friend so am pre-viewing here:
I appreciate feedback on listing price.

I am going to sell both this car and my 964 C4 super charged coupe, to buy a GT3, to feed my track habit.

986-S:

Car has 80K miles, recent clutch and RMS/IMS fix, new top, litronic, PSM, heated seats, more.

I have thrown a fortune at it. It has all the track mods and all the street mods, approx $10k+ in mods. It is a true dual-purpose Boxster S.

I am planinig to ask approx $22K as is, or will take less w/o the after market wheels, carbon fiber FVD airbag steering and Porsche carbon fiber shift ****, speedster humps, etc.

Back to stock looks (still wil incl all the track mods) I will sell for $16K.

Thanks for thoughts.

My apologies to my Renn fellow members, I re-read my post and realized my intentions were poorly stated. I have re-phrased.
I apologize, but I simply meant that, well, most of you reading this already own a slice of Stuttgart pie, and I truly love this 986. It was just that I am only asking for feedback on my potential sales price. Reluctant to sell but must to get GT3.
Cheers!. Schnell- Schnell!

What, specifically, are "all the track mods" ?

I imagine in your "stock" form, $14-16 will get the car sold. Not sure what the buying market is like in Colorado, but this should be the "season" to sell a convertible.

As for the top photos, wow.. looks like a completely different car. Not my taster per se, but if you can get $.25-30 on each dollar of mods, you are doing ok. So, in an ideal world, $10K mods = 2500-3K in price adjustment?

I hope to heck you can get 16k for it stock as I would like to get that for mine with 100k!

A buyer will not pay for the mods so I would put it back to stock.

I agree that 16k is on the low side in stock form. excellence recently ran an article with the 00-02 986s as a "best porsce for 16k" but yours with stock bits looks better than their examples.

Love the black wheels btw!

GLWS.

Default Just sold my '01S 58k miles

stock, AS, medium options. $13.5k and could have gotten a bit more but not much more. Was in great shape, all receipts, lots of parts/etc went with it.

All markets are local.
