Default Trammel Bars

While I was waiting on my custom dampers (still). I decided to go ahead and make a set of trammel bars for home / track toe alignment.

It's pretty simple to do, you just have to take careful measurements of the suspension attachment points, locate the center, then build some bars to bolt to the car with the same offset distance from the centerline at the front and rear,

First thing I noticed - the centerline of the suspension is very very close to being the same as seemingly unimportant features like the center hole in the rear shear plate and the front screw under the bumper cover. Obviously a well built car. +1 for the Fins.

After I finally got the bars finished, I measured toe at full droop and then at normal ride height. Wow, almost no change in toe. What a design! +1 for the Germans.

I've been too lazy to pull off the springs and check the full travel range, but what I checked looked very encouraging.
