nobody ever said you couldn't. I believe you can get an 18x8 / 18x10 back there . . . . I'd be interested in knowing what's the widest tire you can get in the front / rear. The most I've gone is 245 f/285 r.

Are you sure those are wheels from a C4 S (which should be a wide body 996). I thought they ran 11" rims with a wider offset (as per the turbo) and would have said there was no way they would fit. You certainely can't fit them on a narrow body 996.

+1000. In the picture I had just set it down off the lift but even after driving it a couple of days it still hasn't settled too much.

They are. Im running spacers in the rear and they clear the shock by about a millimeter. These wheels replaced a set of 18 inch Twists that came off a wide body 996 as well. They looked too big and bulky. I got these wheels off Craigslist and refinished them in Gun Metal Grey.
