Default Introducing the AWE Tuning Porsche Spec Boxster Bolt-On Exhaust System

All of the power with none of the guess work. Engineered and built in-house.

Tested on the dyno. Proven on the track.

Designed with durability, flexibility, power gains and weight loss as top priorities, this System is the only exhaust your Spec Boxster will ever need.

System Highlights:
• Race tested
• Compatible with all 1997-99 Boxster 2.5L
• Bolt On simplicity
• Crafted from mandrel bent 2.25” T-304 Stainless Steel
• Max gains: +36 hp and +29 ft lb at the crank at 6250 rpm
• Peak gains: +11 hp and +1 ft lb at the crank
• 21 lb weight savings with straight pipes (15lbs total)
• 12 lb weight savings with resonators (24lbs total)
• Simple muffler and straight pipe swaps with stainless V-Band Connections
• Porsche OE Style Floating Hanger Design to eliminate cracking under rigors of track use
• Optional Resonators and Turndowns for sound limit compliance

More information and dyno charts are available in the Spec Boxster Exhaust of our website.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Looks good but you don't make an exhaust for the 986 Boxster S?

That and I think you need to be a RL site sponsor to advertise your wares here.

Wanna' be a sponsor?

We don't offer an exhaust for the 986 S at this time. We have one for both 987.1 and 987.2 (both S and non-S), but not the 986.

We are an official sponsor as of last night. They must still be applying the permissions to my account.

Hey Alex,
Is the Spec Boxster Exhaust your baby at AWE ?
I got an email from Michael and Jesse regarding it and would love to talk and see some more on it. It looks really nice and the resonators and turn downs should be a huge help at tracks where noise restrictions are an issue.

Do you guys plan on developing anything for the 986 S? I would be potentially interested in that for my 01.

In that case, welcome to RL and thanks for signing on as a sponsor.

Great looking exhaust as usual. Sounds like you guys need to work on that 986 S exhaust. Just take a couple of tweaks, no? I'd also be interested, if it wasn't too loud. Not like I don't already have enough exhausts for the Boxster!

Keep the new products coming. and Welcome!

You mentioned you have a fe systems for your S, you aren't looking to get rid of any of them are you? I'm in the process of searching for a decent set-up with a set of cat bypass pipes and a muffler assembly

Any plans (or is it even possible) to make this more modular so you could leave the cats in and keep a car street legal? This would be valuable for those building a Spec Boxster over time (like me) who can't go fully track-only at this point.
