Default Wheel Fitment Question

Just wondering if this wheel/tire combo would fit a 1998 Boxster ? The wheels are genuine Cup II's (993) with Dunlop Winter Sport tires and of course would be used solely for winter driving.

Front - 17x7 ET55 205/50-17
Rear - 17x8 ET30 225/45-17

Good question. The ET30 is in the opposite direction for spacers to help. I've never seen the cup2s in ET30. They came on 993s with 17 x 9 ET55, same offset as fronts. The rears will stick out about an inch further than stock Boxster 17" wheel and tire combo, so it will be close. If they don't you might be able to roll the fenders, but spacers make it worse. You can research yourself here:

Maybe a typo on the rear ET.. maybe 50 not 30? 30 would not be a "factory" ET for a 993 wheel. 993s were also "late offset", ie 50ish

Not a typo. They are a winter wheel set specifically built for the 993 C4S and hence quite rare with the rear ET30 and 8" width.

Tricked by the "widebody" As mentioned, they would stick farther out (about 25mm, or 1") towards the fender lip.

That said, my Boxster had 7.5" front an 9" rears.. so your "8's" would fill out the fenders like a 9" would.
